Kalki is no Mrs Anurag Kashyap

Marriage doesn’t seem to have changed Kalki Koechlin one bit. She believes in asserting her own identity despite being married to a well-known director like Anurag Kashyap. When asked if her equation with a person is dictated by Anurag’s assessment of that person, Kalki snaps, “I don’t make friends depending on Anurag’s judgment. Whenever I meet someone, I judge for myself. Anurag and I are two different people; we don’t have the same wiring.”
And though Kalki had taken to writing a la hubby dearest (she has penned The Girl in Yellow Boots), she seems to have no plans of turning a director. “As of now, I don’t want to become a director. I don’t know about the future. I definitely want to write, but I won’t act in the film I write,” she says.
