Kangy has reason to love New Year

Shootout At Wadala may have turned out to be a bittersweet experience for Kangna Ranaut, what with being excluded from the film’s promotions and her role merely a minor part in the all-male gangster saga. However, her next film, I Love New Year, seems to be more promising.

“The journey after the success of Tanu Weds Manu hasn’t been an impressive one for Kangna. She could’ve done better than pick Game, Rascals, Tezz and Miley Na Miley Hum. Her only success, Double Dhamaal, too featured her in a minor role. However, all of that should change with I Love New Year where the entire film revolves around her and Sunny Deol,” one source said.
“Yes, we are pitching the film as Kangna’s comeback,” said Bhushan Kumar, the film’s producer. “Why shouldn’t we? She is the solo heroine and present in every shot. She is very charged about promoting the film as well.”
