Kangy hinges her hopes on Krrish 2

Kangna Ranaut has been suffering a miserable run in Bollywood, with nothing seeming to work out for her. And as she begins work on Krrish 2, one can’t help but remember the last time she worked with the Roshans — in Kites — which is where her troubles began, incidentally. She felt she got a raw deal in that film, as she featured in just a miniscule blink-and-you-miss role, and never recovered from the debacle. With Krrish 2, however, she is trying hard to avoid a repeat of the same.
She is lobbying hard for a meatier role, and while Priyanka Chopra has already been confirmed as the lead star, Kangy wants to be noticed too. “Kangna wasn’t too happy about her role in Kites, but the Krrish 2 team has worked with a bound script, and she is confident about getting a better role here,” says our source.
With other assignments also not coming by as easily as she would have wanted, Kangy is quite anxious about Krrish 2. Looks like our girl has put a sizeable number of eggs in this Krrish 2 basket, and all we can hope is for it to not disappoint her.
