Karan bails out good friend Farah

A friend in need is a friend indeed. And who knows this better than Karan Johar whose candyfloss films on love and friendship set a trend in 90s Bollywood. So when a harrowed Farah Khan asked him to bail her out of a situation, Karan was more than happy to oblige.

Farah’s debut film Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi is ready for release and the promos are already receiving a great response. “We are not just targetting a 40plus audience. The film will appeal to all ages, so we want to target the youth too,” says Farah. “Our Hum Aapke Hain Kaun poster was liked by many. So we asked Karan if we could do a spin on Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. And full marks to Karan for being such a sport. He made me and Boman look like Kajol and Shah Rukh from the film!” she continues.
Farah is grateful to her industry friends for being so encouraging about her film. “Otherwise, do you think a choreographer-cum-director could pull off being a heroine?”
We couldn’t agree more.
