Karan breaks down on stage

It was a teary moment for Karan Johar at the recently concluded Colors Screen Awards. Karan, who shared a close bond with the late Yash Chopra, couldn’t contain himself when the Lifetime Achievement award was announced for the latter.

Yash ji’s wife Pamela Chopra came on stage to receive the award. An eyewitness says, “She broke down on stage when she came to receive the award for Yash ji. Seeing her, Karan, who was hosting the show, couldn’t contain his tears. He was all choked up and couldn’t speak for a couple of minutes. It was only after some time that he could gather himself and went back to hosting the next segment.”
