Kareena wants focus on work

Kareena Kapoor is upset with the media — for paying more attention to her personal life than her histrionics on screen. Well, kya karein Ms Kapoor, aapki life hi hai itni interesting! But anyway, at a recent event, the newly married Bebo sahiba expressed her discomfort with the state of affairs, complaining that earlier, she was quizzed about her wedding plans, and now that she and Saif have tied the knot, about their holiday plans.

“No one wants to ask me anything about myself, as a person,” Bebo rued. “Suddenly, the focus has shifted. Honestly, I’m unhappy with this development,” she added. The actress also expressed the feeling that her attempt to get a “serious” image is something people aren’t comfortable with.
Hmm…all that’s very well Bebo, but what we’re wondering is, is Kareena opting for a “serious” image because of her Pataudi connection? In the past, she’s made no bones about cashing in on her uber glamorous image. Is there pressure on her to shed her glamorous avatar and opt for a serious image?
Kareena has always been known for calling a spade a spade, but ever since her nawabi nuptials, she’s a lot more careful. She even asserted that she won’t perform at weddings as she wants to maintain the “royal” tag attached to her in-laws. We do think Kareena’s gradual transformation is for her to settle into the royal family.
