Karisma is ready to get back to acting

While some of her contemporaries are back in the game with interesting projects in hand, Karisma Kapoor is lying so. Her last effort in Vikram Bhatt’s Dangerous Ishq didn’t bring her the desired results but now, the actress says she’s ready to revive her film career.
Karisma, who is currently in the news for her new book My Yummy Mummy Guide, was in Delhi recently for the inauguration of a fashion store. That’s when she confirmed that she has been reading a few scripts lately. “After Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit’s successful attempts to bag good scripts, Karisma is looking for that apt film that will get her back into limelight and give her due credit as an actor,” says a source close to Karisma.
Apparently, it’s her sister Kareena Kapoor and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan who have been encouraging Lolo to get back to acting. “Karisma doesn’t need to prove her mettle as an actor. Films like Zubeida and Fiza have proved that. Now it’s about time that she reclaims her position as an actor,” adds the source.
