Kat eyes Madhuri’s position

Katrina Kaif has a new ambition: She wants to fill the void left by Madhuri Dixit. Madhuri, the original dhak dhak girl of Bollywood, had the rare combination of oomph with serious acting talent. Exactly the kind of image Kat wants for herself. From being the quintessential glam doll, she has graduated to more serious roles.
And in London, where she is shooting with Shah Rukh Khan, she is displaying these ambitions to all and sundry, aware that the film can take her a to a different level altogether. “She personally has been shopping for accessories and clothes for the film. Katrina has envisioned her character and knows that she is the only one who can do justice to it. The song they are currently shooting in London will make other romantic songs in the industry sound and look mediocre,” says her spokesperson.
