Kat’s got a new fan

Katrina Kaif, who is famous for not subscribing to any B’wood camps, was of late, in danger of being slotted as a YRF heroine. The reason: All the time and attention she has devoted towards her multiple projects starring Aamir, Salman

and Shah Rukh Khan with the production behemoth. But by transforming into Chikni Chameli for Dharma Productions’ Agneepath, Kat has now entered the good books of Karan Johar as well.
And why not? After all, Kat spent 10 days rehearsing for this one item number and KJo seems suitably impressed with the effort. Says Karan, “Katrina’s outdone herself in the Chikni Chameli avatar. Trust me, nothing can stop her now. There will no longer be any debate over whether she can play a small town girl.” — JT
