Kat wants to be back in the rat race

While Katrina had a good 2011, with feel good hits like Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, not to mention the Chikni Chameli item song in Agneepath, she didn’t have the kind of monster hits her contemporaries notched up. Vidya Balan had No One Killed Jessica and The Dirty Picture, Kareena had Bodyguard, Golmaal 3 and Ra.One, and both have staked claims to the numero uno slot Kat was eyeing for herself.
“Katrina has been known for turning every film into gold by her mere appearance. She has an enviable track record, an 80 per cent success rate ever since she started her career in Bollywood. Last year was quite good for her as well, since Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan were huge hits. However one thing that she has missed so far in her career is a `100 crore grosser,” informs a trade expert.
“She is like a sleeping tigress who is all set to wake up and intensify the battle,” says a source closely tracking her career. “She has Ek Tha Tiger and another YRF project lined up for this year, and with Salman and SRK as the male leads, both films are expected to do well.”
Considering Dhoom 3 with Aamir Khan and Dostana 2 also in her kitty, the future is definitely rosy.
