Khan brothers left shaken by blast

Saturday evening’s blast at Mehboob Studios has rattled the Khan brothers. Though minor, the blast has left them shocked. They reacted quickly and cancelled Sunday’s shoot of their upcoming Dabangg 2, instead calling an urgent high-level meeting where they discussed reasons for the mishap and how it could be avoided in the future.

“Salman bhai was shocked that something like this could have happened to a film of his. Thankfully, the three men who were injured are all safe, but things could have been worse. Arbaaz bhai cancelled the shoot, but asked the production team to report for work. The agenda was to find out how the incident had occurred and identify precautionary measures,” says a well-placed source.
Confirming the news, Arbaaz said, “The ones injured are out of danger. Two of them would be discharged soon, while the third will take four-five weeks to recuperate. We are sad and disappointed that this happened on our sets. We had an all-heads meeting on Sunday and there are a list of dos and don’ts shared. Such mishaps are unacceptable and we are taking extra measures to ensure there is no repeat.”
