King Khan plays mentor to Sid

Shah Rukh Khan has always been infamous for keeping the focus always on himself. Unlike his contemporaries Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, SRK never took the onus to groom an actor despite the fact that a lot of newcomers have been compared to him.

But looks like King Khan has finally found a person worthy of his time and effort. Apparently, SRK has been giving a lot of tips to Student Of The Year actor Siddharth Malhotra.
“Though the film is completely Karan Johar’s baby, SRK played a true mentor to me. From choosing a film to the attitude to the approach, he has always been sharing his experiences with me. Being from Delhi, we speak the same language, so I feel there is a certain bond we share,” enthuses the newcomer. Well, one thing to be kept in mind is that SRK is also the co-producer of SOTY.
Sid, however, is a tad disheartened that he didn’t get to share screen space with his producer-cum-mentor, but the man hasn’t lost hope. “I want to follow his footsteps and achieve superstardom,” he says.
The enthusiastic newcomer is aware that it might take a little time but he is confident that he will achieve his goal. Being an SRK student, you can’t not be self-absorbed, right Sid?
