KJo impressed with Huma

Ekta Kapoor, on Tuesday, held a special screening of Ek Thi Daayan for his filmmaker friends and the star cast of the film in Mumbai. After the watching the film, a mighty impressed Karan Johar walked up to Huma Qureshi, one of the leading ladies of the film, to congratulate her on her performance.

The filmmaker couldn’t stop praising her.
“It was very flattering. Coming from Karan it made me feel good and more confident,” revealed Huma. Apparently, the filmmaker compared her to yesteryear actresses. An eyewitness said, “Karan likes actresses who focus on their craft and not just obsess about their looks. He even expressed his desire to work with Huma.”
Huma, who idolises the yesteryear actresses such as Madhubala and Meena Kumari, couldn’t have felt more flattered. “I really look up to them and I follow their style. I want to work with big filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap, Karan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. If they offer me a role that requires me to lose weight I will do it. If not, I feel I’m quite pretty and happy.”
Well, she does seem to have reasons to be!
