Konkana is a busy single mother

Konkana Sen Sharma has maintained a stoic silence on her personal life ever since her marriage with actor Ranvir Shorey ended. The actress who had just delivered a child during the time of separation withdrew from mainstream Bollywood to focus on Bengali films. Konkana who is now a mother of a two-year-old admits that being a single parent is a full-time job.

“I won’t talk about the past, but I can tell you that raising a child and being a single parent is a toughest job ever,” she says. Thankfully for her, Konkaka has found a strong support system in her mother and filmmaker Aparna Sen. “My mother was a single parent too and I have seen her go through the same difficulties when I was little. Being a mother is a full-time job and my two-year-old son Haroon keeps me on my toes all day,” she adds dramatically.
Talk about love and Konkana smirks saying she is in a happy place and in no hurry to fall in love again.
