The year 2013 seems to be full of promises for actress Anushka Sharma. From the looks of it, she will rule the box office in the beginning of the year and at the end of it. “First major release of 2013 is Vishal Bhardwaj’s Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola which arrives in the second week of January. The last release of the year is Raj Kumar Hirani’s P.K., which releases on Christmas Day.

She is the lead in both the films which means that she will stay on in audience’s memory right through the year,” says an insider.
The actress will be paired with Bollywood’s endearing mama-bhanja duo in the two films. “Aamir is her co-star in P.K. while Imran Khan plays ‘Matru’ in the other film. The only other actress to have worked with both uncle and nephew is Kareena Kapoor — 3 Idiots and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu respectively. With Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan opposite Shah Rukh Khan this year-end and a film each with the industry’s biggies like Rajkumar Hirani and Vishal Bhardwaj next year, guess that next few months will be crucial for the pretty lass.
Guess the other actresses have some serious competition to look forward to!
