With li’l help from friends

Reel life is often said to inspire real life. But in John Abraham’s case, it was quite the reverse, when it came to his upcoming film Vicky Donor. It seems the film, the launch of which was also marked by John speaking about sperm donation and IVF, was made at the request of close friends of John, who recently had a baby via IVF.
“This couple had been trying for years to conceive, but weren’t successful. A friend recommended that they try IVF, and they were able to welcome a baby into their home. John was inspired by the fact that medical innovation had made it possible for his friends to complete their family,” the actor’s spokesperson admitted.
