Lights, camera, actor!
Anurag Kashyap seems to be looking at many options in front of the camera. For once, the director is acting in more films than he is directing. What began with a two-bit role in his directorial debut in Black Friday, was followed by a rather impressive cameo in Luck By Chance. But Anurag has moved on from cameos now. In his next two films, Onir’s I Am and Nana Patekar’s Shagird, he will be seen in full-fledged roles. In fact, in the latter he will essay the role of a gangster. But that’s not all. Anurag will soon be getting back to doing cameos in Tera Kya Hoga Johnny and Soundtrack, both of which star Soha Ali Khan as the lead protagonist. The actress says, “I am the only actor who hasn’t worked under his direction but has shared frames with him in front of the camera. He may look very serious in person, but he is very chilled out in front of the camera.”
Anurag, who is currently wrapping up his directorial venture Gangs of Wasseypur, remained unavailable for comments.
