A little bit of this, a little bit of that
Lady luck seems to be favouring Ajay Devgn these days. With two back-to-back successes of Athithi Tum Kab Jaoge and All The Best this year, the actor has multiple releases to look forward to starting this October with Milan Luthria’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. Insiders say that those who have already seen the rushes of the film are raving about it.
Post his October release the actor will be seen in Priyadarshan’s next with Akshaye Khanna in a film titled Aakrosh. An action flick, the film is based on a horrific tale of an actual incident that took place in Bihar involving an inter-caste romance. November will also mark the release of Rohit Shetty’s sequel Golmaal 3 followed by Ajay’s own home production Toonpur Ka Superhero in December. But that’s still not all. Come January and the actor will be seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s first comedy flick Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Jee. Ajay also plans to work with Priyan on yet another untitled venture, which is slated to go on the floors post-September.
Reportedly the actor dons different looks for all his releases. “I have always been experimenting with my looks,” he says. But Ajay has been known for spacing out his films. “I’d rather have my releases spaced out,” he says, adding, “These are films of varied genres, and I can’t help but wonder how the audience will react to them. I try to maintain a good balance but at the end of the day, all one needs is the satisfaction that their films have done well.”
