Look who’s back in the game

He won’t be seen judging the upcoming season of Indian Idol, but Anu Malik has a lot going for him otherwise. First, there’s the music of Shootout at Wadala that’ll bring him back in the game and then, his daughter Anmol, is being roped in as lead singer for a major track in the film, titled Bajate Raho.

Despite making her debut as a singer with Aishwarya Rai’s Umrao Jaan (where she had sung Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Na Kijo), Anmol hadn’t been very active in the world of playback singing. However after her chartbuster track Talli Hogayi, she is now back with a song called Naagin, which is touted to be even funnier than her party number from Ugly aur Pagli.
Guess the family has pretty much moved on and the disassociation from Indian Idol has been taken in the right spirit.
