A ‘luv’ story blossoms

Sonam Kapoor has always admitted she’s a daddy’s girl. Sonam has always turned to her dad Anil for approval on not just the films she’s doing, but also her relationships. A while ago, we heard that Anil disapproved of Sonam’s relationship with I Hate Luv Storys director Punit Malhotra. Despite being together, Sonam and Punit have never admitted to it, because of Anil’s disapproval. But it now seems that Punit and Sonam can finally heave a sigh of relief.
On Monday night Sonam and Anil walked into a private party. Guests were surprised to see the father-daughter duo accompanied by Punit. “The men were bonding big time, and Sonam seemed to be basking in the fact of their camaraderie,” says a guest who was present at the bash. “They looked like one big, happy family, leading us to believe that Sonam and Punit had Anil’s consent.”
The trio even left the party together. “Anil didn’t seem to have any issues with Sonam and Punit’s relationship,” our source added. Arre waah!
