Maddy does it in one take
R. Madhavan has just completed the shoot of his first Hollywood project Night Of The Living Dead Origins 3D. Recalling the experience the actor says, “I had a great time shooting for the film. The technology used is amazing. On the first day, they wanted to give me the easiest scene because it was a different format for me. But I chose to do the most difficult one — a scene involving an emotional breakdown. They warned me that would probably need some preparation, but I said I’d manage. I did it in one take and the team was very happy. Truth be told, an emotional scene is easy for Indians to do since there is so much drama in our films.”
Speaking about his upcoming projects in Bollywood, the actor says, “I’m doing a film that we start shooting in December. It will be shot in Hindi and Tamil and is based on boxing. I have been preparing for it for the last seven months and I’m very excited about it.”
There has also been talk about the much-awaited sequel to Tanu Weds Manu. When probed, Madhavan says, “It’s in the pipeline and I’m sure it will happen. I’m looking forward to it.”
