Madhur’s Heroine is still on

Madhur’s forthcoming film Heroine has been in the news for a lot of reasons. After Kareena Kapoor reportedly turned down the film after months of discussions with the director, there was news of a budding war between actresses over who will play the role, with Aishwarya Rai emerging as the prime contestant. The film’s bold storyline has created buzz and of late, a rumour suggests that the film might be shelved altogether.
Director-producer Madhur Bhandarkar rubbishes any such claims, and refuses to reveal any information either. “All I can tell you is that we have just started working on the script of the film,” he says, adding, “But I can assure you that with some new faces there will surely be one big name in the film.”
