Mahesh defends Jism 2

Mahesh Bhatt is outraged with politicians ordering that posters of Jism 2 be pulled out from hoardings and BEST buses in Mumbai. The visuals on the film posters have been termed “titillating” and in bad taste and hence the orders were passed.

A furious Mahesh was quoted saying, “Spiting visuals emanating from the human imagination has been the norm since the Medieval Age. I feel only the faces of politicians change but their thoughts never do. An ordinary citizen’s freedom has often fallen prey to the judgment passed by the political class.” He recalls a similar incident that occurred during Kurbaan. “I remember the moral police pulling down posters of Karan Johar’s film that showed a bare-backed Kareena Kapoor. And now we will gracefully agree to their demands and replace these posters with new non-controversial ones,” says a sarcastic Mahesh.
