Mallika meets Sir Elton John

Mallika Sherawat sure knows how to network with the global glitterati. After dancing away with Hollywood star Antonio Banderas and sharing the same frame as American President Barack Obama, the actress was last seen hobnobbing with yet another international bigwig, and musical legend Sir Elton John.

It was at a recently held AIDS charity gala and Mallika was quick to flaunt the picture to the world by posting it on the microblogging site, Twitter.
“The two hung out for a while and music was an obvious topic of discussion between the two. They also went on to talk about food, especially Indian curry,” informs our source. What made Mallika’s day however was the fact that the singer complimented her on the beautiful white gown that she had got designed especially for the event. “It was exclusively designed keeping in mind the theme of the evening and Mallika was glad that the effort was noticed,” the source adds.
Mallika is currently based out of Los Angeles but will be visiting India soon for a film shoot.
