Manisha gets back in front of camera

Manisha Koirala, who has signed her first venture Jai Bhim post marriage, is all set to play a politician now. She will be essaying the role of a Dalit leader.
Her last movie before marriage was Partho Ghosh’s Ek Second Jo Zindagi Badal De. Other than that, the actress has not signed any film, but is concentrating on filmmaking now. She has undertaken lessons of filmmaking in New York and is now all set to plunge into direction. Speaking about a project that she’s started working on, Manisha says, “I don’t know when I will start directing it. I am still looking for the proper peg. First, I have to get my acting career back on track. That’s why I am giving a lot of thought to the movies I sign.”
Jai Bhim is being made under Yograj Cinevista. The producer and director duo team belong to Dehradun and the film is being directed by Nanvit. But among the crew, so far only cinematographer Ashok Mehta has been signed.
The producers are now planning to promote their native place Dehradun by shooting the entire film in the city. In fact, some leading actors from the theatre groups in Dehradun will be signed for some pivotal roles in the film.
