Meet the Jolly good fellow

Arshad Warsi, who is being seen in a rare solo lead in Jolly LLB, is happy with the way the film has turned out. The film, which releases today, has already got a thumbs up from industry insiders. “I am hearing good things about it from all age groups. However, as the saying goes, there is many a slip between the cup and the lip.

Now that the film has released, we will soon know what the world thinks about Jolly LLB.”
Arshad is also looking forward to the release of Joe B Carvahlo and Dedh Ishqiya. However, he regrets missing out on working in Rajkumar Hirani’s P.K. “It’s very unfortunate that I didn’t have the dates. They started shooting last month but I had committed to Dedh Ishqiya around the same time,” he says.
Ask him if we can expect some sizzling scenes between Huma Qureshi and him in Dedh Ishqiya and he laughs. “Don’t remind me. I still get nervous thinking about such scenes. I keep telling my directors to avoid such scenes, but they don’t listen,” he says.
