Minissha prepares for a comic year
The petite Minissha Lamba, who has seen a mixed year of hits and flops, is gearing up for her next two releases this year — Sagar Ballary’s Bheja Fry 2 and Hum, Tum Aur Shabana. Speaking on the comedy packed year, the actress says, “The girls usually have it relatively easy with the comic genre, since most of the comic action is
performed by the heroes. You are mainly a part of it, but not the source of it. But it would be really challenging if I actually had to do a comic role where I play the funny girl.”
With big releases like Shirish Kunder’s Joker and Puri Jagannath’s Boodha, Minissha has surely come a long way from Yahaan.“My character in that film is the closest to my heart. It was my first experience in everything. I literally knew nothing and I did that film without any fear or worries about anything. But I am happy in the phase I am in right now, because I like the work that I am doing,” she says.
