Missed out on sequel, feel no ‘Side Effects’

Rahul Bose, who starred opposite Mallika Sherawat in the hit Pyaar Ke Side Effects, says he has no regrets about not being part of the sequel — Shaadi Ke Side Effects, featuring Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar. Rahul tells us, “I am busy shooting for Vishwaroopam 2 which is as commercial (a project) as it gets.

So I really don’t miss being part of Shaadi Ke Side Effects. Both Farhan and Vidya are brilliant actors and I’m sure they will live up to the original.”
Rahul, who has been promoting sports and fitness causes alongside his films, will team up with his Mr and Mrs Iyer co-star Konkona Sen Sharma once again. “I will soon begin shooting for Aparna Sen’s next with Konkona Sen Sharma,” he confirmed, adding that a film with Shahana Goswami is also on the anvil.
Perhaps his most important project, however, is the one he’s writing. “I am in the process of writing my own film, and that’s something I’m looking forward to,” Rahul shared.
