Ever since Ranbir Kapoor announced that he wasn’t, after all, dating Nargis Fakri or Katrina Kaif, there have been rumours linking him up with ex-flame Deepika Padukone again. And fortuitously enough, even Dippy obliged by breaking up with her beau Sidhartha Mallya at around the same time. But one person who certainly isn’t very happy at this turn of events is momma Neetu Kapoor.
“Neetu has never approved of Deepika’s presence in Ranbir’s life. In fact, she has been quite vocal about her dislike for Dippy. And now that they are both single and seem to be mingling, the Kapoors fear the worst,” says a source.
But where exactly do the once lovebirds stand? Are they dating or are they not? “They aren’t exactly a couple, but they are very much in touch. Deepika, moreover, has always had a soft spot for Ranbir, and she even made it obvious at award ceremonies. Both were heard and seen making jokes about their alleged liaison and most people saw it coming,” the source adds.
