Movie bliss follows Kalki’s marriage bliss

Kalki Koechlin is in the news these days more for her wedding bliss than her celluloid ventures. But Anurag Kashyap’s new bride does have a lot happening as far as upcoming releases are concerned. She’s got Shaitaan and The Girl In Yellow Boots with Anurag at the helm, and also Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara, My Friend Pinto and Shanghai.

Each film is unique and the roles are as varied, says Kalki. “They all gave me opportunities, and as the directors are all different, I had different experiences. In Pinto, I’m a wide eyed, naive young lady, while in Zindagi, I play a posh, smartly dressed city girl. For me, versatility is the key. I could have done 10 Dev.D’s but I didn’t as it would not have helped me grow as an actor,” she says.
