Multiple sequel time for Arshad

After being an integral part of the Munnabhai and Golmaal series, Arshad Warsi is back with one more sequel in Double Dhamaal.

Q You seem to be doing a lot of sequels.
I do films in which the audience likes to see me and there are certain films that I like to see myself in. I know people like Dhamaal, Golmaal, Munnabhai and so I will keep on working in them till the sequels are made on them.
Q There’s the Ishqiya sequel too.
I’m looking foward to Ishqiya 2, but it will be much tougher than Dhamaal or Golmaal. I have not played such a character before. Though I have not heard the script yet, I have full faith in Vishal and Abhishek.
Q When you are doing a sequel do you think it is better to carry forward the original character rather than create a new character?
New is better. When I did Lage Raho Munnabhai, I was frightened — people had liked Circuit, and had I been even one per cent less in the second part, they would say the first one was a fluke. I’m fine doing sequels till the audience likes it.
