With her second wedding anniversary just a month away (November 22), Shilpa Shetty is positively glowing. The beautiful actress and entrepreneur has taken the many controversies surrounding her marriage to Raj Kundra in her stride, and says that she has never been happier. “Every year is getting better — touchwood!” Shilpa says. “He has been great for me, par zyaada nahin bolna chahti (but I don’t want to say too much).”
Motherhood is imminent for many of Shilpa’s contemporaries, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Lara Dutta, but the Churake Dil Mera girl says it’s not part of her plans as yet. “You can’t plan motherhood, darling! I haven’t planned anything. Whenever God thinks it is the right time, it will happen,” Shilpa says. “I am extremely happy for Aishwarya, Lara, for anyone who is going down that path…it’s a beautiful phase and it’s a new journey and I wish them the very best from the bottom of my heart.”
