Murugadoss set to direct Shahid next

Shahid Kapoor has been in and out of the news, due to his professional and personal life. First, his films didn’t do too well. Then, his relationship with Priyanka which was on and off created a lot of speculation. Last heard, they were seen partying in Goa.
But Shahid’s filmy career is moving slowly as the actor is being very choosy about the scripts being offered to him. Though we think, he can’t really afford to be so choosy given his success rate last year. Currently, shooting for his father’s film Mausam, he has also taken up another film. The film will be produced by Shahid’s close friend and famous Bollywood choreographer Ahmed Khan and directed by Tamil director A R Murugadoss, who directed Aamir Khan in the Hindi remake of Ghajini. Shahid and Ahmed have been friends since long and have worked together in the past. Shahid acted in Ahmed’s films like Fool N Final and Paathshaala, but the two couldn’t create magic together. The movies were major disasters, but now that Ahmed has given the job of directing to a much more experienced director, the untitled film might just work and give Shahid a much-needed hit.
