Nargis proves she’s a true rockstar

Proving that she’s not just another pretty phoren face is Nargis Fakhri. The recently released promos of Rockstar have established conclusively that Nargis shouldn’t be talked about solely for her alleged closeness to co-star Ranbir Kapoor or her marked resemblance to Katrina Kaif.
“Nargis has made the industry sit up and take notice of her at a time when not many felt she would be able to deliver on such a prominent stage. But the way Imtiaz (Ali) has given her so much of space in the promo proves the amount of trust he has in her ability,” said a filmmaker on condition of anonymity.
But there are still a few cynical voices. “A promo consists of the film’s best shots so obviously, Nargis is looking her best,” a trade analyst says. “Her body language and dialogue delivery seem to be spot on. But will she sustain that throughout the film? For that, we need to wait and watch.”
