Naseer stays away from Ishqiya party

The makers of Ishqiya were quite high after bagging four National awards. They threw an impromptu party to celebrate the success of the film. While every prominent member from the cast and crew attended the party that went on till late in the night, Naseeruddin Shah was conspicuous by his absence.
“The moment the awards were declared, Vishal Bhardwaj decided to celebrate the success. Everyone who was invited turned up for the event but Naseer Saab wasn’t there,” informed a crew member. No one knows why he couldn’t turn up for the event, but there weren’t any surprises either. Reason being that Naseeruddin Shah is known to be a tad reclusive when it comes to such parties and celebrations.
Arshad Warsi, Naseer’s partner in the film sounded elated at his film winning four National Awards. “It was wonderful to catch up with everyone, though I missed my Khalujaan a lot,” he says. Their partner in crime, leading lady of the film, Vidya Balan too partied very hard. She apparently stayed on till the end to celebrate with the other crew members.
