Nawaz and Irrfan see red over Lunchbox?

Irrfan Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who are known for their choice of offbeat cinema, are eagerly looking forward to the release of their first film together, Lunchbox. The film has garnered a lot of appreciation on the festival circuit across the world and has got positive reports from industry insiders here as well. But now it seems that all is not well between the two lead actors of the film.
Apparently, Nawazuddin isn’t too happy with Irrfan hogging the limelight. “Nawazuddin had announced that he’d only work in solo hero projects but it’s his loyalty towards his filmmaker friends that makes him take up supporting roles. There is no clash of egos here but he was under the impression that he and Irrfan would get equal footage in the film,” says a source closely associated with the film.
Probably that’s the reason why Irrfan and Nawaz have not joined forces to promote their first film together.
