Negative press is positive?

Any publicity is good publicity, is an adage show business swears by. One may not be remembered for good acting, but a little controversy can assure generous press coverage. Sooraj Panscholi, son of actor Aditya Panscholi, currently in the news in connection with actor Jiah Khan’s suicide, is a case in point. Word is that the producer of Sooraj’s debut film that has been on hold for some time, asked Panscholi Sr if the project could be commenced in September. A source close to the family however insists that they’re not capitalising on controversy. “To shoot in September-October was a decision taken much before Jiah’s unfortunate demise,” he says. That’s not all.
According to insiders a few other filmmakers have approached the debutant too. “Too much has been happening around Sooraj. But no development will take place before the investigations are over,” adds our source. Buzz is that Sooraj will make a debut with Salman Khan’s home production.
