Neil is an eternal optimist
David may not have been the blockbuster that Neil had hoped for it to be, but the actor hasn’t let it dampen his spirits.
He is instead, taking solace in the fact that his performance is being appreciated and that he has an enviable lineup of movies to look forward to. “I am stunned to see the kind of accolades coming my way since the release of the film. It is a great feeling when the audience appreciates you, but when the industry acknowledges your effort, it is a different high altogether. The last time I got such unanimous appreciation was for Johnny Gaddaar in 2007. I am reliving that moment,” says Neil.
A confident Neil says that he has one mantra to go through Bollywood and life. “Kaam karte jao aur phal ki ichcha mat karo. Jab mauka hoga, time sahi hoga, toh sab theek hoga. I keep telling myself that two more films and the struggle will be over,” he says. We hope so too.
