New shor in Bollywood

Preeti Desai, whose claim to fame so far, is her being Abhay Deol’s love interest, is now looking forward to the release of her debut outing Shor In The City. “Shor is a kind of an experiment for me. It’s an awesome role — I don’t have many scenes but it’s a nice step into films,” says Preeti, who is also happy being a model. The film tells three parallel stories and she acts in one opposite Sendhil Ramamurthy. “My character Sharmili, as my directors say, is the beautiful side of Mumbai in the midst of the shor,” says Preeti, whose favourite shor is that of parties.
