Looks like the bitter break-up with Bipasha Basu is doing strange things to actor John Abraham. These days, his obsession for bikes seems to have shifted to a rather intellectual penchant for theatre.

Sources say, “Whenever he gets some time, he spends it watching the latest plays.” John says that since he has had no formal training in acting, he intends to take up theatre to learn the finer nuances of the art. “But I’m hardly able to find time for theatre because I am so busy shooting films. I would love to experiment with the stage some time in life,” says the actor. Several months ago, when John was shooting for Saat Khoon Maaf, he was spotted having intense conversations with Naseeruddin Shah. “Since he is actively involved in theatre, I shared my interest with him. He has also invited me to his workshops. Hope I can make time for them soon,” says John.
