No 10-year itch for Maddy

Even as Bollywood’s first couple Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan celebrated 37 years of togetherness, R. Madhavan and his wife are ushering in their 10th wedding anniversary.
A source close to the couple said, “Maddy and Sarita have come a long way — Maddy being a South Indian and Sarita a Maharashtrian. Despite entering the film industry after getting married, Maddy has a huge female fan following. Sarita however, remains unfazed by it.”
Madhavan met his wife when he used to teach electronics and telecommunications and conduct workshops throughout India. Over the years, he has publicly credited his success to Sarita’s support, calling her “his biggest asset”.
“In an industry filled with insecurity, they are truly a couple to look up to. They’ve always stood by each other through thick and thin,” the source added.
So here’s wishing Madhavan and Sarita a very happy wedding anniversary!
