No de-glam please!

Deepika Padukone has had enough of “de-glam”. The actress seems to have learnt a lesson from the colossal disasters of her de-glam avatars in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se and Aarakshan, and now she seems to have taken a hint from the success of Desi Boyz, where the audience got to see the “usual” Deepika. So for Race 2 as well, there won’t be any change of pattern. In fact, director duo Abbas-Mustan is taking extra care to up Dippy’s glam quotient for the suspense thriller.
When contacted Deepika confirmed that it would be a total change in terms of looks and style. “Yes, Abbas-Mustan are giving so much attention to the way I would look in the film. Right from clothes and make up to facial expressions and camera angles, everything has been well thought upon. In any case their films are very stylised and as an actor you are bound to be presented like never before, says the actress. On a parting note, she adds, “Among all the directors I have worked with so far, it was only Farah (Khan) who had paid so much attention to such intricate detailing during the making of Om Shanti Om. The way I am going to be presented in Race 2 will be the most glamourous I’ve been since Om Shanti Om.”
