No ‘double’ role for Farhan as yet

While Farhan Akhtar has dabbled in acting, directing and producing, we won’t be seeing him as the protagonist in a project he’s helming for a while. And why? Because Farhan feels that directing and acting simultaneously is akin to having a split personality!

“The demands of both are so different,” sighs Farhan. “As a director, you have to experience the emotions of every character, but as an actor, you have to internalise the feelings of the character you’re playing. To be successful at that would require you to have a split personality.”
