No good scripts for Imran-Ranbir
While there are rumours afloat that Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen together for the first time in Shimit Amin’s next with Yash Raj films, actor Imran denies having been offered any films together.
The actor says that both of them want to be cast together, and had been searching for scripts and directors who would take both of them. But, they haven’t come across any script worth working for. “People have been talking about us doing a film together after we anchored an award show but no one has offered any good script,” says Imran, adding that they have become good friends now.
“I have known him for the last one and half years. Ranbir is a good actor and has proved himself. His films have done well at the box office too,” says Imran.
While Ranbir has had hits like Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Rajneeti, Imran’s films have not done well at the box office. But Imran is not worried about it. “It doesn’t bother me. He is an excellent actor. There is enough work and space for everyone. I’m hoping my films will do well at the box office too. The more work you do the more you are refined. I have to work hard. Maybe experience will help,” he concludes.
