No messing with Jha

The posters of Aarakshan are out and there seems to be no trace of the quintessential larger than life touch that Firoz Nadiadwala projects are associated with. An industry observer says, “When Firoz makes a film, there is a distinct stamp of his own, regardless of the genre. He loves to give his films a lavish look packaged with a masala treatment.” But director Prakash Jha is one person who had the fortune of sticking to his style till the very end for his socio-political drama. “I had a subject in hand for over five years, Firoz decided to produce it and the film was made exactly the way it was envisioned. In fact Feroze never even came to the sets of the film,” says Jha. Guess the producer knows only too well that indulging in Raajneeti with Jha is not such a good idea.
