No sick leave for Emraan

The perils of being a Bollywood actor is that you have to put in the hard labour, come hail, high water or ill health. Emraan Hashmi ditched the option of taking a sick leave last week, when he turned up on the sets of Rush in Goa, though he was battling high fever and flu at the time. “The Goa shoot had to be completed. Emraan didn’t want to waste a single day. So despite running fever, he managed to wind up 18 scenes in a single day’s work,” says the official source from the film’s sets.
What’s more, the actor didn’t even go to the hotel to take a break, instead going straight to the sets. “Going to hotel and then to the location would have been a waste of time. Emraan wanted to wind up his portion as soon as possible,” says our source.
