Not another Kahaani

Aamir Khan’s usual nonchalance towards industry rumours seem to have reached an expiry date, as the actor is highly disturbed about Talaash being touted as a me-too Kahaani.
Ever since he postponed Talaash to November, it has been alleged that the real reason behind the move was the film’s similarity to Vidya Balan’s runaway hit. No amount of clarification from producers Riteish Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, besides Aamir himself, could stop tongues from wagging.
With the situation going from bad to worse, Reema Kagti, who has so far maintained a stoic silence about Talaash, felt the need to clear the air. She said, “Talaash is completely original, so comparisons with Kahaani are surprising. I have said this before but some people like to get carried away by idle gossip while the truth blends into oblivion.” But she believes things will change once the promos of Talaash go on air. “Talaash is ready and Aamir will soon see the first cut.”
We will wait for the real kahaani to unfold.
