Injuries and actors seem to be constant companions of late. Days after Abhishek Bachchan was injured on the sets of Bol Bachchan while performing a stunt, Shreyas Talpade suffered a similar fate during the filming of Joker.
Apparently inspired by his daredevil co-star Akshay Kumar, Shreyas opted to perform a stunt that required him to be suspended 30 feet above the ground, without a harness. “Shreyas was confident that he could pull of the stunt, as he’s done similar feats in Golmaal 3 and Golmaal Returns,” a source from the sets says.
Unfortunately, Shreyas landed on his back and injured himself. Not keen to make too much of a fuss, the actor says, “It was not very serious.”
