Not part of Akki’s DNA

Recent reports claimed that Manoj Kumar’s Bollywood “comeback”, DNA Report, would feature none other than our Rowdy star Akshay Kumar. However, Akki has made it clear that not only is he not acting in the film, he isn’t even aware that such a project was being planned.

“Akshay wasn’t even aware of this so called news until some mediapersons quizzed him about his part in the film. He was stumped as he didn’t have any clue what was he being asked about. Yes, he respects Manojji, but he is not working on his film,” says a source close to Akki.
DNA Report is the story of a man who becomes the “victim” of a DNA test, being labeled the father of a woman’s child, despite not having had any physical relationship with her. “The idea may be interesting but do you see Akshay fitting into such a film?” our source asked. “In fact, he now wants to figure out where the rumour originated from. He is sure that an actor of Manojji’s repute and stature won’t make any such claims without having everything on paper.”
Akki himself couldn’t be reached for comment.
