Parineeti opts out of Ayushmann’s next film
Parineeti Chopra, who is slowly and steadily becoming a much sought-after name in the industry, seems to be becoming increasingly selective too.
Besides Hansee Toh Phasi, the actress had also committed to Shoojit Sircar’s film Humara Bajaj opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, which was supposed to go on the floors after the release of Madras Cafe.
Now we hear that Pari has opted out of the film and has been replaced with Rashi Khanna, who is making her debut in Madras Café. Industry sources say that Parineeti only wants to work with commercially viable actors of her generation and Ayushmann’s previous release Nautanki Saala pulled him a few notches down at the box office. But sources close to the actress vehemently deny this. “That’s not true at all. Parineeti couldn’t do the film due to date hassles. She even performed with Ayushmann at a recent award ceremony,” clarifies a source close to Parineeti.
